The big 1,000!!!

I finally hit 1,000 page views! This is really exciting for me, I am glad that so many people have checked out my work these past few weeks, it's a great motivation for me. I appreciate all of the comments and critiques, I am looking forward to getting my next batch of artwork up for all of you to see.

I am currently in the process of writing and illustrating a short graphic novel/comic. I will be posting some of the rough sketches here very soon! So please stay tuned, I hope you all will enjoy it.

Which effect are you referring to? I use a few different techniques. The main program I use is Adobe Photoshop CS3. I also use Illustrator.

I would be glad to give you some tips if that is what you would like.

For instance, the streaks on the Air Force symbols you did, is that in the photoshop? Also is that version of photoshop free?

I used a tablet to draw the streaks under the Air Force logo. It's basically a digital piece of paper.

As for this particular version of Photoshop, it is not free, it actually will run you between $130-$200 if you buy just Photoshop.

Ahh well, thanks anyways man. I really need a tablet! Every one who has every done a really awesome picture uses one! >_< My friend told me one cost around $80. do you know of any cheaper ones?
